I was born Kevin Sanchez. There is no middle name to the name. I was born in the month of April, same month as my little brother and father. I have two brothers which I look nothing alike. Actually, I don't really look like my family. In a way I don't really fit in either. I was born and raised in the neighborhood of Logan Square. Now a couple a years ago it wasn't the same as it is now. I sort of in a way grew up with fear. My dad would always fight with the local lowlifes, gang-bangers. There was always shootings outside and many more fun stuff. A big fear I had was of my father. He is a good man, but as a kid you see him as an almighty powerful being. He has a strong voice, big hands, and a huge nicely groomed mustache. The fact that I was scared of my father as a kid makes me believe that I grew up to be who I am. I'm well disciplined and a hard worker. As a kid I enjoyed playing sports and running around doing kid stuff. I would always whine about things and I was a little annoying rascal. Slowly but surely I grew up by the time I was in middle school I was a very good student. I achieved straight A's and got many awards from my middle school. I got into many selective enrollment high schools but I wanted to go to Lane Tech. It was the nearest school to my house. High school was great. I met many people and great friends. I will never forget my high school experience. I played soccer in the high school team but then stopped. I played with my own team which was better and more of a challenge. I am in college now and completely enjoying my life. I am nowhere near who I used to be as a kid. I am way different.
